Pakistani Recipe:Aaloo Gosht

Aaloo Gosht is a delicious dish of Punjabi.It is usually served with fried rice and roti.

 
 

Ingredients:

Mutton 1 kg
 
Aaloo {Potatoes} chopped 1/2 kg
 
Tomatoes chopped 2-3
 
Onion chopped 3
 
Ginger paste 1 tsp
 
Garlic paste 1 tsp
 
Yoghurt 250g
 
Oil 1 cup
 
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
 
Garam masala 2 tsp
 
Salt to taste
 
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
 
Haldi powder 1 tsp
 
Coriander powder 2 tsp
 
 
Procedure:
 
1.Fry onion in oil till golden brown.
 
2.Add mutton and spices except garam masala and tomatoes and fry for 3-5 minutes.Add yoghurt and fry for 5 more minutes.
 
3.Add 1/2 cup water cook on medium low flame till mutton is tender.
 
4.Now add potatoes and cook for 5 minutes,now add water according to your need of shorba [gravy] and cook till potatoes are tender.
 
 
5.At last sprinkle garam masala and fresh coriander leaves and shimmer.
 
 
6.Delicious Aaloo Gosht is ready.
 
 
7.Serve with roti or fried rice.
